The past two weeks have been some of the biggest in QF’s journey so far. Momentum is high, the community is energized, and we’re entering a new phase of what QF will become.

Here’s everything you should know.

1. Our Biggest AMA Yet - Nearly 2,000 Attendees

Last week we hosted a community AMA that turned into our largest event ever.
Almost 2,000 people joined live to see what we’ve been building and to get a first look at our new creation.

The energy in the chat said it all: curiosity, excitement, and a shared belief that QF is building something fundamentally new for web3 developers.

This was a milestone moment for us, and the community made it special.

2. W3zard Is Almost Here

During the AMA, we revealed the first public demo of W3zard, our new tool that lets anyone create blockchain apps with the ease and flow of “vibe coding.”

The reception was overwhelming.
Builders, founders, and researchers instantly got why this matters: development on QF is about to become radically easier and more expressive.

The team is applying the final polish now.
A public release is coming soon.
And when it lands, the entire QF ecosystem will open up in a new way.

If you thought the preview was big… the launch will be bigger.

3. Preparing for What Comes Next

Behind the scenes, the engineering team has been shipping fast:

• Developer Portal released

• Rust SDK for Smart Contracts released and published on crates.io

• Infrastructure upgrades across RPC and monitoring

• Storage utilization-based deposits added to prevent mainnet bloat

• SPIN secure finality relaying to the fastchain implemented

• Mainnet tokens claiming app PoC created

• Multiple repos cleaned, aligned, and production-ready

All of these pieces point in the same direction:

We’re getting ready for what’s coming.
And what’s coming is closer than people think.

You’ll start to see more signals of that soon.

4. Community ≠ Audience. You Are the Network

We say it often, but only because it’s true: QF grows because you show up.

Your questions during the AMA, your feedback, your memes, your ideas… they shape the network just as much as the code.

As we move into this next phase, W3zard’s release and what follows, your participation will matter more than ever. We received an interesting idea from a community member that aligns strongly with our belief in a community-first approach, something we are now evaluating. Just to show you, we hear and see it all!

October was about solving the speed-vs-security paradox at the protocol layer. Not choosing between them. Solving both.

SPIN Consensus Progress

Fast blocks with 2 layers of security.

Last month, we shipped the ability to read secure finality data.
This month, we delivered the rest of the flow:

✔ Relayer service implemented
Forwards finality proofs from the fastchain to the anchor chain

✔ Finality verification path completed
The anchor chain’s checkpoint is now passed back to the fastchain enforcing secure finality

Your transactions finalize in a few seconds with the same cryptographic guarantees as the anchor chain maintaining 100ms inclusion pace. That’s 120x faster than Ethereum L1, without sacrificing security assumptions. Fast and trustless — finally.

Core Infrastructure Upgrades

Infrastructure That Doesn’t Get in Your Way

Leonardo joined from Parity to keep this momentum going. His job: make sure infrastructure is invisible because it just works.

Building on unstable infrastructure is like coding on a laptop that crashes every hour. Unacceptable.

This month we hardened the stack:

• Migrated to a provider with better uptime and support guarantees, redundancy added (multiple servers are listening for requests), RPCs are now provisioned automatically from code

• Portal uptime: Now consistently available when you need to deploy

• RPC reliability: Fewer timeouts, faster responses

• Testnet telemetry: Real-time node visibility

Smart Contracts and Developer Portal

Developer Portal: decreased priority

We made a call: perfect the protocol layer before scaling the developer experience.

Smart contract tooling and portal features are on hold while the team focuses on SPIN finality and core infrastructure. Once those foundations are unshakeable, we’ll move fast on apps, templates, and tooling.

Better to delay surface-level features than ship a protocol that needs fundamental rework later.

Mainnet Launch Preparation

Mainnet Milestone 1: Spec Complete

First mainnet milestone is fully scoped:

• Architecture locked

• Requirements documented

• Review cycle in progress

Once approved, we start building. This marks the transition from research mode to execution mode. From “what should we build?” to “here’s how we’re building it.”

The distance between testnet and mainnet just became smaller and measurable.

Coming Soon: New Tool for the Community

We’re shipping a new developer tool next month.

It solves a friction point we kept hearing about from early builders. Intuitive, open to everyone, no waitlist, no gating. You’ll see why we prioritized it when you use it.

Looking Ahead

Next month expect:

• 180+ commits across active repositories

The pace is strong, and the foundations are getting sharper every week.

Smart Contract Platform Migration

One of the biggest upgrades this month: we’ve successfully migrated our smart contracts platform from pallet-qf-polkavm to pallet-revive.

Why this matters:

• Future-proof execution with a modernized smart contract environment

• Cleaner SDKs with an “export” macro that reduces boilerplate

• Upgraded CLI tools for uploading and executing contracts under the new system

• Pallet-assets integration brings token to the runtime

This lays the groundwork for a developer experience that feels smoother, faster, and closer to Web2, without the compromises.

dApp Development Tools

We’ve been experimenting with LLM-powered dApp templates. The first one, a Token Launcher template is live. It allows devs to spin up token minting apps with significantly less manual scaffolding. Early days, but it’s shaping up as a key building block in our vision of radically simplified dApp development.

Infrastructure & Platform

• Portal Stability: Fixed critical reload bug and compilation issue for portal.qfnetwork.xyz.

• Historical Data: RPC nodes now provide full historical blockchain data, a major improvement from the previous 30-second window.

These infra upgrades make the chain more reliable for both developers and validators.

Partnerships

We are working hard on closing a new, and very exciting, partnership! An AMA with this same new partner will come soon after that. It’s an opportunity to dive deeper into what both teams are building, answer your questions live, and share what’s next on the roadmap.

Alpha Preview: Developer UI MVP

We’re building a Developer UI MVP, a web-based platform that lets you go from idea to deployed dApp in under 30 minutes.

This new experience is designed especially for Web2 and early Web3 developers who often face complex setup, scattered tooling, and unclear paths. Instead of struggling through config files and endless docs, you'll use a guided wizard to pick a use case (like token launch or DAO), scaffold a project with best practices, and deploy to GitHub + Vercel with just a few clicks.

Here’s what to expect:

• Wizard-first project creation

• Pre-built templates for common dApps

• GitHub integration (automated repo creation + CI)

• Deployment hooks (Vercel/Netlify support)

• Educational scaffolding to explain QF-specific concepts

This is our first step toward a one-stop, opinionated dev UX layer for the QF ecosystem.

New Partnership: QF x EVA

We’re proud to welcome EVA into the QF ecosystem.

EVA is integrating QF Network into their API, enabling elite-tier, on-demand auditing and security validation for smart contracts deployed on QF.

This expands our commitment to production-grade infrastructure and gives developers greater peace of mind.

Testnet Added to Polkadot/Substrate Portal

Another step in developer onboarding: QF’s Testnet is now available via the official Polkadot/Substrate Portal.

This brings familiar tooling and easier access for builders who want to explore the network’s capabilities.

Token Engineering Labs Partnership

As shared last month, our collaboration with Token Engineering Labs is now in full swing.

We’re applying formal frameworks to validate economic design and protocol incentives, strengthening long-term robustness across consensus, rewards, and governance.
